Puchkov Triples, Hays Collects Side & Rule Busted

Foster Hays raised to 13,500 and picked up two callers, Rocky Rule and Konstantin Puchkov on the button and big blind respectively. When the flop fell {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}, Puchkov committed his short stack, Hays moved all in over the top, and Rule called off, creating a sizable side pot between the latter two.

Showdown
Puchkov: {9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
Rule: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Hays: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}

Rule had flopped top pair while Puchkov held an open-ended straight draw, but they were both behind the pocket rockets of Hays. The {10-Hearts} turn was of no consequences, but the {J-Clubs} river was as it gave Puchkov a straight and the triple; meanwhile, Hays' aces sent Rule to the rail.
