Boyd Slipping

Dutch Boyd raised the action from the cutoff and received calls from both players in the blinds.

The flop was {7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{5-Spades} and the small blind checked to the big blind who bet out. Boyd called and the small blind got out of the way. The two saw the {7-Spades} pair the board on the turn. The big blind bet once again and Boyd tanked before calling.

The board was completed with the {10-Diamonds} and the big blind fired one more bet. Boyd dropped in a call but mucked his hand when his opponent showed {5-Hearts}{4-Clubs} for sevens and fives. Boyd is now sitting at about 28,000.
