Morrison Doubles Through Shorr

Elio Fox opened from the button and was called by Kirk Morrison in the small. Shannon Shorr squeezed to 56,000, which got a fold from Fox, but not Morrison, who fell into the tank.

"C'mon Shannon...you don't want to tell me anything?" Morrison said to Shorr.

Shorr remained stoic.

"I'm all in," Morrison announced and pushed his remaining 200,000 into the middle. Shorr quickly called and Morrison was at risk.

Shorr: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Morrison: {A-Spades}{5-Spades}

"Good call," Morrison said.

It was a good call as Shorr was well ahead, however, the {4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{10-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds} board paired Morrison's five up on the river and left him with the best hand. He doubled up and then some to 430,000 while knocking Shorr back down to 270,000 in the process.
