The Fox has Been Caught

"Seat open Table 355," we heard a nearby dealer yell. We got up to check who the unfortunate casualty was, and it turned out to be noted poker author Chris "Fox" Wallace. We're not sure of the details, but based upon their stacks, it looks like Jeff Madsen and/or Leif Force may have had a hand in it.

Speaking of those two, we recently caught them mixing it up in a hand of pot-limit Omaha when Force check-called a bet of 675 from Madsen on a {9-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} flop. The {Q-Clubs} turn saw Force check again, but this time he folded when Madsen bet 850.

We wouldn't be surprised to see Madsen, the 2006 WSOP Player of the Year, and Force, who won his first bracelet earlier this summer in Event 3: $3,000 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold'em/Pot-Limit Omaha, duking it out throughout the evening as both have a reputation as being quite active players.
