Dempsey Crushing

No-Limit Hold'em

Noah Schwartz had opened with a raise and James Dempsey reraised from late position. The big blind put in a cold four-bet, which knocked Schwartz out of the way. Dempsey went all in and his opponent called.

Dempsey tabled the {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} for the mother of all hands against his opponent's {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}. The board ran out {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{5-Spades}{9-Diamonds} and Dempsey busted the player to move to 48,000 in chips.

To give you a bit of info on Dempsey, he is a World Series of Poker gold bracelet winner from 2010 when he won the $1,500 Pot-Limit Hold'em for just under $200,000. The largest single score of his career came from a victory at the World Poker Tour Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic where Dempsey won over $820,000 for first place. That was in December of 2011.
