A Whole Host of Talent Chasing David Benyamine: Day 2 Event #34: $5,000 PLO Six-Handed

Yesterday saw 419 players enthusiastically take their seats for the $5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Six-Handed competition. This morning, only 72 players can possibly win that coveted gold bracelet and first prize of $512,029. Leading that group of hopefuls is one of the most experienced players in the world. There is not a game of poker that David Benyamine has not been involved with at some point in time. Benyamine has played in cash games with stakes so high, they would give normal men vertigo, plus he can play virtually all forms of poker and play them well. But maybe the greatest thing that the Frenchman has going for him is his experience. Benyamine has been there, done it and has bought the t-shirt with, "I am a World Series of Poker bracelet holder," sewn into the fabric.

But Benyamine is going to have his work cut out at the top of the charts, because there is a whole host of talent trying to depose him from is temporary throne. Shaun Deeb, Scott Bohlman and David Colin are another three people with over 200,000 chips. Add Kevin MacPhee and Joseph Cheong into that top ten and you know what we're talking about!

Day 2 of the amazing $5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha - Six-Handed event starts at 13:00 PM, live and direct from the Amazon Room in the world famous Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. If you can't be there then take the next best seat, here with us at PokerNews.
