The Gold Section is Filling Up; Leif Force in Action
There are not many seats left in the Gold Section of the Brasilia Room as the attendance figure increases to 348 players. One man in the midst of the action, when we were walking around the area, was Leif Force. The recent World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner (Event #3: $3,000 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold'em/Pot-Limit Omaha) was involved in back-to-back pots with Erik Cajelais and Melki Jack.
We joined the action on the flop of and four players in the hand. Cajelais bet first, making it 2,200 to play, and only Force made the call. The turn card was the and both players decided to play for the spare change that they each had in front of them.

The two-pair of Cajelais gave him the lead with one more card to come. The dealer peeled over the and Cajelais was not happy. "PLO!" Grumbled Cajelais as he was forced to hand 3,075 more to Leif.
After that hand Cajelais had 14,400 and Force was up to 27,500. Then in the very next hand Force got embroiled with a flop all-in against Jack Melki. The flop was and here were the state of affairs.

So a straight for Melki and Force was looking for a higher Broadway straight. The turn and river kept the pot moving in the direction of Melki who now had 20,000 whereas Force was down to 19,600.
