Steury Quartered; Pateychuk Eliminated
Omaha Hi-Low
A woman limped from the under-the-gun position only to have Andrey Pateychuk, who was next to act, put in a raise. Action folded around to the defending champ, Aaron Steury, in the cutoff and he three-bet. The big blind opted for a four-bet, both the UTG and Pateychuk called, and Steury moved all in for just 100 more. Three calls ensued and then the big blind led out on the flop.
Two calls were made before the appeared on the turn. Again the big blind bet, UTG called, and Pateychuk moved all in for 1,900 total. Call, call.
The river saw the big blind bet yet again, which the UTG player called only to muck when her opponent revealed for a full house and the nut low. Pateychuk mucked as well, signifying his elimination, while Steury showed for an inferior full house and the same low.
