Table #412

Table #412 houses not only our chip leader (Artem Metalidi) but also two World Series of Poker bracelet holders (Scott Montgomery and Foster Hays). Here are a few hands and the chip counts for that table.

Joseph Urgo raised to 13,000 in the hijack seat and Nathan Tuthill took one in position from the cutoff. The pair of them shared a flop of {J-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} and Tuthill called a 16,000 Urgo c-bet. The turn card was the {9-Hearts} and this time Tuthill became the bettor after Urgo had checked. He made it 18,000 to play and Urgo made the call. The river card {2-Diamonds} brought no more betting and Urgo won the pot tabling {J-Hearts} {10-Diamonds}.

Then Scott Montgomery raised to 13,000 on the button and Joseph Urgo three-bet to 33,000 from the big blind. Montgomery made the rather nonchalant call and they both shared a flop of {Q-Spades} {9-Spades} {5-Clubs}. Urgo fired out a c-bet worth 41,000 but Montgomery just smashed it back with a 100,000 raise resulting in an Urgo fold.
