2012 World Series of Poker
Layne Flack managed to double up to 23,000 through Von Altizer, but he busted the very next hand.
He raised off the button and Altizer called from the small blind. Both checked after discarding two cards each, and then they drew one card each.
Altizer led for 12,000 and Flack tank-called all-in for his last 8,000. Altizer stood pat while Flack drew one last card in hope of finding a winning hand.
He didn't find it as Altizer opened and Flack mucked.
The remaining seven players are now being moved to the secondary feature table on the Pavilion room stage. We'll have the new seat draw and counts for you very shortly.

After losing a hand against David Baker holding an eighty-seven (Baker had eighty-seven perfect), Layne Flack lost another big pot against Von Altizer. Flack raised with the button, Altizer called, and on the first two draws, Altizer discarded one card. Flack discarded one on the first two, and Altizer check-called two bets.
On the final draw, both players drew one card, and Altizer check-called one last bet.
"Ace," Flack announced.
Altizer fanned , and Flack mucked his hand, leaving himself with just 20,000 chips.

Layne Flack is getting too short for his own comfort after losing a pot to David Baker.
Baker two-bet from the cut-off and called when Lack three-bet from the button. Baker drew two and Flack stood pat from the off. Baker then check-raised Lack who called.
Both players now stood pat before Lack called a bet. Baker's aggression must've made Lack think twice about the strength of his hand as he drew one when Baker stood pat again. Both players checked the end and Baker took the pot with .
That dropped Flack down to 55,000 but he didn't win the nest pot uncontested to get back up to 73,000.

After the second draw, Shawn Buchanan bet enough to put Josh Arieh all in. Arieh quickly called, and both players stood pat.
"Nine," Arieh said.
Buchanan fanned an eighty-six, and Arieh mucked his hand before heading to the rail.

The short stacks are having a good time of it so far today when at risk. Von Altizer came back as the second shortest stack and now she's doubled too, although is still down on the day after a bad start.
Layne Flack completed from the small blind and she checked her action. Both cards drew three and then they raised it back and forth until Flack called the four-bet to 24,000. Both stood pat from there on and Altizer got her last 16,00 in the middle and opened and took the pot as Flack mucked.

On the first hand of play, Josh Arieh was all in against Jason Lavallee. On the first draw, Lavallee took one card, and Arieh two.
On the second draw, Lavallee stood pat.
"Pat already?" Arieh said, before sweating his two new cards. "Ok I'm pat too!"
The two stood pat again on the third draw, and Arieh fanned . Lavallee looked at his hand one more time, and didn't look too happy. Lavallee had paired on the first draw () and misread his hand. Arieh shipped the double up, but still has less than 100,000 chips.
"Park the car, honey!" Arieh shouted to the rail. "I guess he tried to bluff me."
