Chen Moves On, Froehlich Out

Tommy Chen
Tommy Chen

We just caught the huge pre flop all in between Tommy Chen and Eric Froehlich who got their money all in pre flop. Tommy Chen showed {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} and jumped his chair in excitement when Froehlich turned over {q-Spades}{J-Spades}. The board ran out {9-Hearts}{3-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, and Chen got a huge double up. He was all in for 164,800 and with one lammer behind he took a huge lead.

Froehlich was down to around 71,000 when, according to Chen, he moved all in pre flop with {10-}{8-}. Chen called with {K-}{K-} and his hand held up giving him a seat in the final 16. Froehlich, who finished fourth in the $25,000 Heads Up Championship last year, got knocked out and added a min cash to his impressive list of results.
