Off Route for Routos
We don't exactly know what the action was preflop, but once we saw a whole table standing and staring at the board we came a running to see what was going on.
On a flop two players were all in and called by former chip leader James Routos. Routos held for a pair of kings. One of his opponents tabled for a flush draw, and the final player in the hand showed for a set of eights.
The set of eights were ahead for now, but there was still a turn and a river to see. With a touching down on fourth street the set of eights looked to be in good shape. The river assured that the set of eights were indeed the best hand and the massive 30,000 chip pot was awarded to the winner.
