Hellmuth Tries to Get Sneaky
From the button, Chan raised to 32,000 and Hellmuth called.
The flop came and both players checked.
Before the turn was dealt, Hellmuth decided to play a little unconventionally and bet 32,000 in the dark. When the turn came the Chan announced he was all in. Hellmuth, who had 426,000 left, looked back at his cards and then back at Chan. Chan told Hellmuth that he didn't like the check raise as Hellmuth mucked his cards and Chan showed him for an open ended straight draw.
After having started passively, Chan has really begun to pick up the aggression. He hasn't given Hellmuth any room to breathe and has him on the ropes.
