Zajdner Zooms Up the Counts

Over on table 285, we picked up the action three-handed into a flop that read {8-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}; the player in the small blind checked to another in middle position who opened for 6,000 before Mark Zajdner called from the cutoff. The big blind folded, so it was heads-up to the turn of the {7-Hearts}, where the middle position player checked.

Zajdner threw out 10,000 and his opponent called, but then both players checked down the river {6-Clubs} before the middle position player showed {K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} for busted straight and flush draws. Zajdner tabled {10-Spades}{8-Spades} and took down the pot.

Having only started the day with 84,100, Zajdner has almost doubled his stack since play began - he's now close to 160,000 in chips!
