Hand #260: Martin Staszko

Level 42 : 1,000,000/2,000,000, 300,000 ante

Pius Heinz had the button, and he raised to 4 million. That wasn't enough for Martin Staszko, and he made a three-bet to 11 million straight. That folded Heinz out of the way, and Staszko is closing in on a three-to-one chip lead.

The {J-Diamonds} landed on the river and both players checked. Heinz showed the {9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}, but lost to Staszko's {Q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}.

Hand #257: Staszko Straightens Heinz

Level 42 : 1,000,000/2,000,000, 300,000 ante

Martin Staszko had the button. He limped in again and Pius Heinz checked to see the flop come down {J-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. Both players checked and the {Q-Hearts} landed on the turn. Heinz bet three million and Staszko raised to 7.5 million. Heinz called.

The river was the {6-Spades} and Heinz checked. Staszko bet an even 10 million. After a minute in the tank, Heinz called. Staszko showed the {K-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} for a straight and won the pot.

Hand #255: Chop, Chop

Level 42 : 1,000,000/2,000,000, 300,000 ante

Martin Staszko had the button. He limped in and Pius Heinz checked to see the {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. Heinz bet three million and Staszko called.

The turn was the {9-Clubs}, which was a very interesting card as it coordinated a lot with the cards already on board. Heinz checked and Staszko checked.

The river completed the board with the {5-Clubs}. Both players checked again. Heinz showed the {Q-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Staszko the {Q-Spades}{8-Hearts}. Chop it up, boys.
