Elezra Continues to Dominate, Scoops Pot With Wheel

Level 11

Stud-8:

We caught the action as Eli Elezra was involved in a hand with two other players, one of whom was all in for his tournament life.

Elezra: (X)(X) - {4-Hearts}{2-Spades}{10-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}
Opponent # 1: (X)(X) - {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
All-In Opponent: (X)(X) - {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}

Eli Elezra bet out on third, fourth, fifth, and sixth streets and was called by both opponents each time. By fifthe street, one of his opponents stood up to await his fate, as he was all in an at risk. His double-paired board appeared to be a strong one, but on seventh street Elezra again fired out a bet and opponent # 1 made the call. Elezra happily announced "Wheel!" as he flipped up his down cards: {A-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for the nut straight and the nut low.

Neither opponent could table a full house to beat Elezra and the Day 1 chip leader continued his torrid pace, eliminating one player and taking a healthy stack of chips from another.
