Van Patten Doing Fine, Though Not In-Vince-able

A player in middle position opened with a raise to 2,500, and it folded around to Vince Van Patten who called from the small blind. The big blind got out, and the flop came {8-Spades}{K-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. Van Patten quickly checked, and his opponent didn't wait long to check as well.

The turn was the {7-Diamonds}, and Van Patten tossed five yellow (1,000) chips ahead of him. His opponent called. The river was the {Q-Diamonds}, and both players checked.

Van Patten's opponent tabled {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} for kings, and the World Poker Tour co-host mucked. He is still doing fine, though, with an above-average stack of 86,000.
