Porter Has Kicker Problems

Bryan Porter and Jonathan Duhamel both checked a flop of {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{k-Clubs}, but after the {5-Hearts} turned Duhamel led for 68,000. Porter called.

The river was the {a-Clubs} and Duhamel slowly slid 168,000 into the middle. Porter sat and thought for a bit before cutting out chips and making the call.

Duhamel opened {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} for a pair of kings with a queen kicker and Porter nodded before showing {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for the same pair but with a worse kicker.

Porter slipped to 620,000 chips while Duhamel boosted his stack to 1,200,000.
