Do Svidanya, Alexander Kravchenko

Alexander Kravchenko - eliminated
Alexander Kravchenko - eliminated

Alexander Kravchenko's final hand, unlike so many of the other eliminations occurring at this stage of the tournament, actually went to a flop. Kravchenko opened for 10,500 pre-flop from the cutoff. Akenhead, next to act, bumped it to 27,000 and Kravchenko called.

Kravchenko checked an ace-high flop, {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}. Akenhead fired out a bet of 28,500, then was put to a decision when Kravchenko raised all in for about 100,000 total. After spending some time carefully considering his decision (as has become his trademark), Akenhead called with a pair of aces, {a-Spades}{5-Hearts}. Kravchenko showed a pair of queens, {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}, and did not improve on the {7-Spades} turn or {5-Diamonds} river. He's now out of the tournament and sweating the $1,500 no-limit hold'em final table from the rail. Akenhead, meanwhile, is up to 330,000 in chips.
