Tomer Berda Gets 384k Boost

Our first huge pot of the final table started when Hugh Bell raised to 60,000 from the hijack. David Tuthill was on the button and made the call, followed by Donald Offord in the small blind and Tomer Berda in the big blind.

The flop came {10-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and action was checked to Tuthill who bet 102,000. His only call came from Berda.

The turn was the {8-Hearts} and Berda checked. Tuthill bet 102,000 and Berda made the call.

Both players checked when the {8-Hearts} fell on the turn, and Berda checked the {k-Hearts} on the river. Tuthill fired a second bullet, putting 162,000 into the pot. Berda tanked for a few minutes and without much confidence, eventually made the call, saying "Nice hand." However, that comnpliment came a bit too soon, as Tuthill said "nine high." We didn't get a chance to see Tuthill's cards, as they weren't tabled once Berda showed {9-}{10-}.

Berda is closing in on the two million chip mark.
