Play Slows Down

Play has come to a crawl now that we're four-handed and looking at some serious jumps in pay for each spot. We're not seeing too many flops or anywhere near the number of all-in shoves that dominated reporting earlier in the evening.

Kordus Shows Big Bluff

Calvin Kordus was on the button when he raised to 125,000. The only player to take him up on his offer was Vincent Jacques, who re-raised to 375,000, getting a call from Kordus.

The flop came {8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Jacques led out for 270,000. Kordus raised to 375,000 and showed {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} when Jacques folded.

Tomer Berda Eliminated in 5th Place ($117,416)

Tomer Berda
Tomer Berda

The preflop aggression seen at this final table hasn't let up, and the latest victim of all-in showdowns was Tomer Berda. When David Tuthill raised in the cutoff, Berda re-raised, Tuthill three-bet, and Berda shoved for the fourth preflop bet, this time for all of his chips and getting a call from Tuthill.

Tuthill: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Berda: {A-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The dealer didn't deliver any help to Berda as the hand played out {4-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{8-Spades}. Tuthill has taken a huge lead and has over half the chips in play.

Donald Offord Eliminated in 6th Place ($86,858)

Donald Offord
Donald Offord

Vincent Jacques had been slipping in the standings as of late, but after coming out on the best side of a hand with Donald Offord's tournament life at risk, Jacques is back into the leader mix and playing five-handed for the bracelet.

David Tuthill had raised to 125,000 in the cutoff when Offord went all in over top. Martin followed suit and put all his chips in the middle of the table while Tuthill folded.

Jacques: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Offord: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Offord was behind from the start and stayed that way as the board delivered {a-Spades}{7-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}.
