Nishijima Takes Final Pot Before Dinner

With just a few minutes on the clock, the organisers decided to continue playing nine-handed before relocating to a feature table. On the final hand, Shaun Malough raised to 85,000 from under the gun and Thiago Nishijima made the call on the button.

On the {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop, Malough bet 175,000 and Nishijima called. The turn brought the {3-Hearts} and both players checked. They also checked the {J-Clubs} river, Nishijima taking the pot down with {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} versus {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}.

After conceding on the end - although, he seemed mighty tempted - Malough is down to 1,050,000. Meanwhile, play has been stopped and the finalists sent on their 60 minute dinner break. Play will therefore resume at approximately 8.20pm. Be there or be... just be there!
