Finne Falling, Then Rising

Limit

Steven Kelly raised from the cutoff and was called by Timothy Finne in the big blind. The flop came down {10-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and both players checked. The turn was the {K-Diamonds} and Finne check-called a bet from Kelly. The river was the {6-Clubs} and Finne again check-called Kelly's bet.

Kelly tabled {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, winning the pot and upping his stack to about 270,000. Finne is down to about 120,000.

The next hand, he and Gavin Smith tangled on a board that read {7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{J-Clubs}. Finne bet and Smith called, leading to the {6-Diamonds} turn. Finne's bet was again called by Smith and both checked the {J-Spades} river. Finne flipped over {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Smith could not beat it. Finne bumped his stack to 180,000 while Smith slipped to 620,000.
