Traniello Back In Business

Stud

The short stacks continue to fight hard with Marco Traniello finding another double up in Stud against Cuong Do. Traniello's last chips were in the middle on fifth street as the boards fell:

Do: ({9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}) / {K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{A-Clubs} / (X)
Traniello: ({Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}) / {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Spades}{10-Clubs} / (X)

We didn't catch their river cards as Do couldn't improve on his pair of nines to give Traniello the double up. He's up to 230,000 with Do down to 210,000.

Razz

Marco Johnson completed and then led the betting on fourth and fifth before Eugene Katchalov led out on sixth. Johnson responded with a raise before firing once again on the river. Katchalov couldn't stand the heat and tossed his cards into the muck.

Johnson: (X-X) / {4-}{7-}{5-}{10-} / (X)
Katchalov: (X-X) / {2-}{9-}{7-}{4-} / (X)

Katchalov slips to 880,000 with Johnson up to 1.2 million.

Roman Yitzhaki Eliminated in 15th Place ($26,459)

Roman Yitzhaki - 15th place
Roman Yitzhaki - 15th place

Omaha-8

Matt Glantz raised it up from the button before Roman Yitzhaki three-bet it from the big blind. Glantz made the call and they saw a flop of {Q-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}. This is when things got a little crazy. A raising war broke out that saw the last of Yitzhaki's chips enter the pot.

Glantz: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{5-Clubs}
Yitzhaki: {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Hearts}

Top pair and nut low draw for Yitzhaki as Glantz held the overpair. The turn was the {J-Diamonds} and river the {K-Clubs}, completely missing Yitzhaki and sending him to the rail in 15th place for a collect of $26,459.

Two More All-Ins Survive

Omaha-8

Scott Fischman limped in middle position, and Brian Townsend raised. Roman Yitzhaki three-bet from the small blind, and Fischman called. Then Townsend four-bet, and Yitzhaki called all in. Fishcman called as well with chips behind. The flop fell {9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. Fischman bet, and Townsend called. Fischman checked the {5-Diamonds} turn, then called Townsend's all in bet. The action was complete before the {8-Clubs} completed the board.

Showdown
Townsend: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} - pair of queens good for the high half of the main pot and all of the side pot
Yitzhaki: {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades} - eight-six low good for half of the main pot
Fischman: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} - good for absolutely nothing

Yitzhaki survived with 145,000, Townsend got back 150,000, and Fischman fell to 400,000 and failed to eliminate anybody.
