Thomas Johnson Eliminated in 8th Place ($58,571)

Thomas Johnson - 8th Place
Thomas Johnson - 8th Place

Niccolo Caramatti bumped it up to 110,000 and that's when Thomas Johnson moved all in for his remaining 375,000. Caramatti made the call and tabled {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. Johnson was at risk, but ahead with his {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}.

The flop had other plans however, pairing Caramatti's ace when it came down {a-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{6-Hearts}.

The turn brought the {3-Diamonds}, and Johnson would need one of the two remaining kings in the deck to stay alive.

It didn't come. Instead, the {2-Spades} fell on the river and Johnson will have to console himself with the $58,571, he will receive when he makes his way to the payout desk.
