Brenes Bounced

Team PokerStars Pro Humberto Brenes drew a seat at the same table with Sirous Jamshidi to start Day 2, and it looks like Jamshidi has won the battle of the mustachioed players. Jamshidi's thriving with more than 200,000 (good for top five in chips), while Brenes has just been eliminated.

Brenes was first crippled in a hand versus Christian Harder. A short-stacked Harder open-shoved his last 15,700 with {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}, and Brenes called with {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}. No trey came for Brenes, and he was down to just 5,000. Harder chipped up to 33,000 on that one.

All in on the next hand versus Friend of PokerStars Pierre Neuville, Brenes had a good hand -- {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} -- but had run into Neuville's {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}. The board went {6-Spades}{K-Clubs}{2-Spades}{8-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}, and the Costa Rican pro hit the rail. Neuville now has 83,000.
