Shulman Trending Downward

Omaha 8/b

Jeff Schulman was riding in the front of the pack for a while and was the first player to break into 100,000 chip territory. Lately, though, he's finding himself slipping and is down to just 25,000 after this hand with Tom Hunt.

Tom Hunt had raised preflop from late position and got called by Shulman and Robert Mizrachi. The flop came {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and action was checked to Hunt, who bet. Shulman then raised and Mizrachi folded before Hunt called.

On the turn we got to see the {j-Spades}. Shulman bet and then called Hunt's raise.

The river was the {10-Clubs} and Shulman check-called a bet from Hunt, but mucked when Hunt showed {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}. Hunt is now up to 95,000 in chips, while Shulman is down to 25,000.
