Two Team PokerStars Pros in Action

Chad Brown
Chad Brown

Five players saw the flop of {J-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades} in a raised pot. Representing Team PokerStars Pro Cananda is Daniel Negreanu and he fired a bet. The next two players called. Chad Brown, who dons the Team PokerStars Pro USA badge, raised. The player on the button folded and then Negreanu reraised. The next player folded, the player after that called and then Brown called as well.

On the {6-Spades} turn, Negreanu checked, the next player bet, Brown called and then Negreanu called. The river was the {7-Clubs} and Negreanu checked. The next player bet, Brown folded and then Negreanu called saying, "Well, I might get the other half now."

Negreanu was shown the {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} for a queen-high straight and an ace-three for the low. The Team PokerStars Pro Canada member mucked his hand and didn't get either half.
