Parmann Gets it in Bad

Art Parmann raised to open the pot. Dutch Boyd called from the big blind, and the two men went off to a flop of {8-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} {5-Clubs}. Boyd check-raised to two bets, and Parmann came right back with another raise over the top. He only had 87,000 left going to the flop, and Boyd went ahead and set him all in.

Showdown
Parmann: {A-Clubs} {Q-Clubs}
Boyd: {K-Clubs} {8-Clubs}

Boyd was ahead with a chance at the knockout, but Parmann had the live overcards to work with. Sure enough, the turn was a {A-Spades}, drawing an almost accidental, "Oh, come on!" from Boyd. Just to rub it in, the river {A-Diamonds} gave Parmann the winning trips, doubling him up to around 350,000.
