Schick Takes a Hit Then Hits the Rail

In this post you will see Dorlan Schick go from chip leader to 34th place finisher in two hands.

Dorlan Schick and Daniel Johnson built up a big pot preflop and got it all in on a {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop. Johnson showed {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for a set of tens to Schick's pair of queens. A {q-Spades} hits on the river giving Schick trip queens, but it also gives Johnson the full house.

Schick is left with 144,000 and Johnson moves up to 523,000.

Schick wouldn't hold on to his stack for much longer. A couple of hands later he moved all in and was called by Blake Slade. Slade showed {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} and Schick reluctantly turned over his hand, showing {10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. Slade had a hunch that Schick was making a move. He was right.

No card on the board helped Schick and he was eliminated in 34th place. Slade is up to 328,000.
