Aces Just No Good for Mike McD

Matt Damon's bet of 700 was check-called on a board of {j-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. The river came {8-Diamonds} and Damon's opponent led out for 1,000.

"I enjoy your movies," Damon's opponent said.

"Not as much as he enjoys taking your money," Don Cheadle said.

"I should pay you off because you're a fan," Damon said. He considered what to do.

"That's the worst card in the deck for you," said Cheadle. Damon finally folded {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}. His opponent obligingly showed a straight, {9-Spades}{7-Spades}.

Broadway Busts Ivey

The player to blame for Ivey's exit!
The player to blame for Ivey's exit!

Phil Ivey moved all in for roughly his last 3,000 dark and Bill Reynolds made the call.

Ivey: {K-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}
Reynolds: {K-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The board fell {Q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{A-Spades} to see Reynolds make Broadway to knock Ivey out.

"Ivey out?" asked one of the Tournament Directors.

"He like to move all in without looking at his cards" uttered Reynolds as he raked in the pot.

Garrett Hamming It Up

Brad Garrett has taken over the announcing duties from Phil Hellmuth this year. He explained the change. "Last night Phil Hellmuth was swallowed by his own mouth."

He's already interviewed David Alan Grier (who got a chunk of Phil Ivey's stack with pocket queens against ace-ten), Joe Hachem ("Did that hat come with a bowl of soup?") and Matt Damon.

Phil Ain't Showing

Phil Ivey had all his chips in the middle preflop with David Alan Grier contemplating a decision.

"I wanna stay here for a while Phil!" Grier added.

Grier then folding his {K-}{Q-} face up.

"I know I got you beat. Show me your cards." Grier pleaded.

In typical Ivey fashion, he just looked blankly at Grier before tossing his cards into the muck.
