Welcome to Event #8, $2,500 No-Limit Deuce-to-Seven Draw Lowball

Event #8, $2,500 No-Limit Deuce-to-Seven Draw Lowball, is set to begin in just a few moments. The start of the tournament may be delayed a few minutes due to the ongoing $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em event that is taking up some extra space.

This event will feature a few quirks that should make things interesting. First, this is a triple-chance event. Each player will start with 2,500 chips, but have the option of adding on at any time twice more during the first three levels. Second, the first player to enter the pot MUST open with a raise. That alone should make the play very interesting. Third, this event is single draw and not triple draw. If you remember last year, a $2,500 Deuce-to-Seven Triple Draw event as featured with John "The Razor" Pahn coming out victorious for his second bracelet of the Series and over $150,000. The slight change of making this a single draw should factor into play quite a bit. Also, the event structure calls for antes right from the get go.

Once again, things may be slightly delayed as the tournament staff works to break some extra tables to make room for the event. Never the less, once action kicks off we'll be bringing you all the live coverage. There are currently 85 players registered. Stay tuned!
