Nobody's Over Moon

Darvin Moon
Darvin Moon
The chip leader for most of the last level has been Darvin Moon, and he's only widening his gap on the field. After Scott Bohlman opened from late position for 100,000, short-stacked Brent Catalano moved in from the button for 885,000. Moon was in the small blind and squeezed out {Q-Spades} {Q-Diamonds}, instantly calling Catalano's all-in reraise.

Bohlman quickly folded, leaving Moon heads up against Catalano's {A-Spades} {J-Hearts}. There was no help for Catalano on a board of {6-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} {3-Spades}. He's out of the Main Event, while Moon's stack crests 9 million.
