Johnson Sent Home

Paul Johnson opened the pot with a raise to 40,000 from early position. The tabled folded around to the big blind where Tom Schneider made the call to see a flop.

Heads up, the dealer ran out the first three cards {5-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds} {9-Hearts}. Schneider checked, and Johnson continued out with a bet of 75,000. "Donkey Bomber" elected to check-raise to 275,000, and Johnson would pause for just a beat before moving all in for an additional 972,000. Schneider wasn't so quick to act as he sat statue-still staring at his opponent. Finally, he made the call with the covering stack, Johnson's tournament now in jeopardy.

Showdown
Johnson: {A-Clubs} {J-Diamonds}
Schneider: {A-Hearts} {K-Hearts}

Schneider had his foot on Johnson's throat, putting him two cards away from the exit. The turn was a blank {10-Spades}, and the {3-Clubs} on the river was no help to the all-in player. With that, Paul Johnson has made his exit from the featured table just before the first break of the day.
