Joe Chaplin
Joe Chaplin
Joseph Chaplin made it 100,000 to go from the button and Christopher DeMaci moved all in for 600,000 more. Chaplin called and we were racing.

Chaplin: {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
DeMaci: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}

Chaplin took the lead on a flop of {Q-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and held on as the board finished {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. He doubled up to 1,300,000 while DeMaci fell back to 700,000.

Hey Look, a Flop

In stark contrast to the rapid pace we saw at the start of the day, this final table has been very slow and tight.

In just the first flop we've seen in 10 minutes, Christopher Bonita raised to 100,000 from early position and Andrew Malott made the call.

When the flop came {10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}, Malott check-folded after Bonita bet out 185,000.

Bonita Makes a Huge Laydown

Chris Bonita raised to 100,000 from under-the-gun and Tony Veckey raised to 340,000 from late position. Action folded back to Bonita, who moved all in and Veckey mucked pocket kings face up.

The Pattern Continues

Here's a typical hand since we've been back from dinner. Tony Veckey raised to 140,000 from the cutoff and Jason Wheeler re-raised to 460,000 from the button.

Veckey folded and we moved on to the next hand.

Konkin Sees a Flop

Sergey Konkin raised to 95,000 from middle position and got called by Joseph Chaplin in the big blind.

Chaplin then led for 135,000 at a flop of {10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Konkin moved all in. Chaplin quickly folded, giving the hand to Konkin.

Chaplin Wakes Up

Joseph Chaplin made a standard raise from the cutoff and Christopher Bonita reraised 155,000 more from the button.

Action folded back to Chaplin who shoved and Bonita folded.
