Lisa Parsons, who finished 76th in the WSOP Main Event last summer and who made the final table of the Ladies' No-Limit Hold'em event last week, was just involved in one of those frustrating blind-vs.-blind hands that will come up in limit hold'em.

She and her opponent had gotten to the river with the board showing {5-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}, and she check-called her opponent's bet. He turned over {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts} -- he'd stuck around with the flush draw and hit his nine -- while she had {8-Spades}{6-Hearts}.

Parsons still has about 10,000.
