Luske Can't Find a Low

Omaha-8

From under the gun, a player limped and then Marcel "The Flying Dutchman" Luske raised. Chad Brown called from the big blind and the limper called as well. The flop was {J-Diamonds} {8-Hearts} {6-Clubs}. Brown checked, the limper bet, and then Luske tossed in a raise. Brown called as did the original bettor.

The turn produced the {A-Hearts} and Brown checked. The next player fired a bet and Luske called. Brown ducked out of the way and action was heads-up to the river.

The river completed the board with the {K-Diamonds} and Luske called a bet from his opponent. Luske tabled {A-Clubs} {10-Spades} {6-Hearts} {2-Spades} for two pair, but no low. His opponent showed {8-Diamonds} {8-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} for a set of eights and scooped the pot.

Luske was left with 11,000 chips after the hand.
