Ladies Spreadin' Some Love

Daniel Alaei and Erle Mankin just won two back-to-back pots with pocket queens. In fact, the suits were exactly the same as well.

After some preflop action, the flop came down {5-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {2-Diamonds}. One player checked, Alaei bet, another player folded, and the first player then called. The turn brought the {Q-Diamonds}. The first player checked, Daniel Alaei bet, the player raised, Alaei reraised, and the player called. The river was the {5-Diamonds}, pairing the board, and Alaei bet after his opponent checked. The player made the call and Alaei showed {Q-Spades} {Q-Clubs} for a full house and scooped the pot.

On the next hand, the flop was {J-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} {8-Clubs}. Alaei checked, Erle Mankin bet, the next player raised, Alaei three-bet, Mankin called, the other player then reraised and Alaei folded. Mankin called.

The turn brought the {10-Spades} and Mankin fired. His opponent called. The river was the {7-Diamonds} and the action checked. Mankin showed {Q-Spades} {Q-Clubs} to scoop the pot, winning with the same two starting cards that Alaei just won with.
