FBT Cripples Brenes

We've had our first clash on Orange #10, the table with Humberto Brenes, Greg "FBT" Mueller and Amnon Filippi. Brenes took the worst of it.

Showing a board of {A-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} {6-Clubs}, Mueller led every street with a bet until sixth street, where he checked. Brenes, who had called the whole way with {A-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} {K-Hearts} {9-Clubs}, seized the opportunity to bet. Mueller called.

On the river, Mueller checked it over to Brenes, who bet again. "I started rolled up, Humberto," said Mueller. "I'm gonna lose, but I have to call." Mueller showed {A-Diamonds} {A-Spades} {8-Spades} as his down cards, for trip aces.

Brenes revealed two of his own down cards: {9-Hearts} {9-Spades}, for trip nines, then mucked his hand. He is left with just over 1,000 chips, while Mueller climbs to 24,500.
