Saif Ahmad Cripples Justin Pechie

Pechie raised in the small blind and Ahmad quickly 3-bet it. Pechie called and they saw a {K-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop. Pechie checked, Ahmad bet 20K and after thinking a bit Pechie called. Both players checked the {5-Spades} on the turn but when the {A-Diamonds} hit on the river and Pechie checked, Ahmad grabbed a handful of chips and slammed down a 40K bet. Again Pechie though about it before making the call, and Ahmad turned over {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs}. Pechie looked down at his cards before flipping over the {A-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. That hand leaves him with just 60,000.

Color Up

There are a ton of yellow 1,000 chips on the table...and they're all coming off. There will be a brief pause while this takes place.

Hal Havlisch Is Eliminated in 6th Place

Hal Havlisch came into today's final table with by far the shortest stack, but he doubled up, doubled up, and tripled up and lasted longer than three other players. But with a short stack still he moved in before the flop with {K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} and was called by Michael Graffeo in the big blind with {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}.

The {10-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{7-Spades} flop gave Graffeo the lead and the {10-Spades} on the turn sealed the deal. Hal Havlisch wins $34,365 for his 6th place finish.

Robert Pacleb Is Eliminated in 7th Place

Even after doubling up that last hand Robert Pacleb was seriously short, and when Hal Havlisch raised the last of his chips Pacleb called with the last of his own. Michael Graffeo called them both and held the best hand, pocket Tens, to Pacleb's {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} and Havlisch's {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}.

But after the {Q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{K-Spades} the worst hand was first, and Havlisch took down the 120,000 pot after the {3-Clubs} and {8-Spades} fell the rest of the way. And Robert Pacleb was eliminated in 7th place, winning $25,771.

Joe Mandia Is Eliminated in 8th Place

After losing much of his stack in a big hand with Justin Pechie, Joe Mandia raised on the button and William Jensen quickly three-bet from the small blind. Mandia tossed in the last of his chips and turned over pocket Sixes; Jensen held {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}.

The {8-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} gave Jensen a gutshot straight draw, and while the {9-Hearts} missed him the {J-Spades} on the river gave Jensen Broadway and the higher straight. Joe Mandia wins $18,899 for his 8th-place finish.
