David Williams Doubles Up

With the board showing {8-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}, Williams moved all-in over the top of an early position bettor for 14,675. His opponent made the call, after which Williams commented, "I'm behind right now."

When they turned over their cards, David wasn't in as bad of shape as he thought he was. He tabled {A-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, for top pair and the nut flush draw, while his opponent showed {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}, giving him a slight lead with top pair, jack kicker.

The turn brought the {4-Hearts}, which was all Williams would need to take the lead and hold it as the river was an irrelevant {Q-Spades}.

"That's what's supposed to happen with that hand," Williams said as he raked the pot.

David now has over 30,000 chips.
