Antonius Active Early On

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Most of the updates will be from the secondary table as the feature table is streamed online on a delay of 30 minutes, however the most crucial hands will hopefully be caught in the posts as well until the final table is reached.

On the secondary table, Besim Hot opened to 3,600 and Patrik Antonius three-bet to 10,300 from the button to take down the pot. One hand later, Antonius raised to 4,000 from the cutoff and Quirin Zech called on the button. On the flop {5-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}, Antonius checked and then folded to a bet worth 3,500 by Zech.

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Jesper Hougaard raised to 3,400 and Philipp Zukernik called before Besim Hot clicked it to 12,000 from one seat over. All opponents folded and the Swiss raked in the chips. "Besim, no more rebuys," Martin Kabrhel joked from the other side of the table.

So far there is an overlay to the €500,000 guarantee but this may still change since the late registration and reentry period remains open until the first card is dealt.

Aleksandar Tomovic is the overnight chip leader with 320,000, ahead of Stipo Vladic with 314,100 and the top duo will be sitting next to each other on the feature table upon restart.

Philipp Zukernik follows in third place overall with 197,700 and the remaining hopefuls include Franco Cantarella (143,700), Czech high stakes expert Martin Kabrhel (142,900), Renato Nowak (125,600), the King's regular known as "Hans Olymp", The Big One for One Drop finalist and EPT11 Prague Super High Roller runner-up Paul Newey (94,800), Quirin Zech (76,100) as well as King's regular Pierre Mothes (67,000).

The action recommences with blinds of 800-1,600 and a running ante of 200, providing plenty of room for moves even for new players that receive 100,000 in chips. The feature table will be streamed live on the internet with a security delay of 30 minutes and the PokerNews live reporting team will cover all crucial hands until a winner is crowned.
