Angelo Jopek opened under the gun to 1,800 before the very next player to act, Ardeshir Heidarij, put in a three-bet to 4,000. The remaining players folded and then Jopek flicked in a call.
The 9?A?A? flop landed and the action checked through to a 5? turn. Jopek then led for 3,100 and Heidarij quickly called.
The A? hit the river giving any pair a boat. Jopek led again for 4,400. Heidarij took a moment and then just called to avoid disaster. It was never coming though. Jopek rolled over pocket tens and Heidarij tabled pocket kings to beat anything but an ace. He scooped but both players still sit with about starting stack.
