In TV table, Michel Leibgorin hit the rail early in this final day.

With 1,2 million chips, he first lost a flip with {a-Spades}{q-Spades} against {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} hold by Thierry Oldak.

Oldak doubled his 600,000 stack and Leibgorin was left with 560,000.

Few hands later, Tiago Serrazina opened under the gun with {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} and Leibgorin called with {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. Both players checked on the flop {j-}{9-}{5-} rainbow and Leibgorin check called a 80,000 bet on the turn {q-} before going all in an the river {10-}. With his straight, Serrazina snap called.

Leibgorin took home 73,000 MAD (around €6,585) for his twenty-second place.

Just before, Paul-Fran?ois Tedeschi doubled up on Waldemar Kopyl with {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} against {6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} : chips went in the middle on a {6-Clubs}{3-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop and Tedeschi found a nice {a-Spades} turn and {a-Clubs} on the river to survive.

Both Antony Lellouche and Antonin Teisseire just doubled their stack with Ace-Ten off suit.

In the small blind, Lellouche was at risk from the small blind and his 395,000 stack, against Queens hold by Silvio Domingues Costa in the big blind. Lellouche found two Tens on the board to double.

One moment later, Teisseire found a full house against {k-Spades}{q-Spades} hold by Endravuz Lahdo.

Alain Dery opened under the gun for 80,000 with {10-Spades}{9-Spades} and Thierry Oldak called from the hi jack with {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}.

Waldemar Kopyl from the cut off woke up with {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} and three-bet to 290,000. Dery quickly called and Oldak folded.

The flop showed {10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and Kopyl continued to 220,000, Dery called with his top pair.

On the turn {4-Diamonds}, Kopyl decided to put Dery all in for his last 480,000 and Dery snap called.

The river {6-Spades} didn't change anything and Dery found a huge double up to stack more than two million chips.

Stimac and Mamouni First Ones to Bust

Two tables are playing in the Main poker room "Salle Jean Bauchet" and the TV table is settled in the Es Saadi Palace corridor.

Ringo Stimac was the first at risk. He shoved on the button for 375,000 and Vic reshoved from the small blind.

Stimac hold {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} and faced {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}. The flop {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{8-Hearts} left no suspense and the turn {10-Clubs} and the river {7-Diamonds} didn't change anything.

Ringo Stimac was eliminated for 60,000 MAD (around €5,400€).

A minute later, Mohamed Mamouni shoved on the button with {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and get a call by Endravuz Lahdo in the small blind with {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}. Lahdo won the flip and Mamouni ended his journey in twenty-third place for 73,000 MAD (around €6,585).

Final day of WSOPC Marrakech 2023 will start at 1 p.m. with sides events and the end of the 15,000 MAD Main Event. 24 players left survived after Day 2 on a field of 1,041 entrants at Casino de Marrakech in Es Saadi Resort.

German player Waldemar Kopyl managed to gather a huge stack of 3,070,000 chips, taking the chiplead to start the final day. He is ahead of French player Hicham Mahmouki and Russian player Andrey Cherkashin.
