Day 1 of the WSOP Circuit $2,200 High Roller Begins at 5 p.m.
The biggest buy-in event of the WSOP Circuit Horseshoe Hammond series is upon us, as the $2,200 High Roller is slated to kick off at 5 p.m. today.
The High Roller is a two-day event, and today's Day 1 action will see the field play through 12 40-minute levels, with breaks after every third level. The last level of the night, Level 12, will be played at 800/1600/1600, and all surviving players will advance to Day 2.
Players start with 30,000 chips, and late registration will be available all the way up to the beginning of Level 13 (the start of Day 2). The High Roller is an unlimited re-entry event.
The last iteration of this tournament came at the October 2019 edition of the WSOP Circuit Horseshoe Hammond. That tournament drew a total of 132 total entries, with Javier Zarco coming out on top and taking home the first prize of $70,931.
Day 1 of the High Roller is slated to end around 1:45 a.m. Monday morning, and resume with Day 2 at 2 p.m. Monday afternoon. The tournament will then play down to a winner on Day 2 at the Horseshoe Hammond Casino in Hammond, Indiana.
