Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Fares Santana
Fares Santana

Issac Kempton opened to 225,000 from middle position and Fares Santana three-bet jammed 515,000 from the button. Francisco Gomez shoved over the top and Kempton folded.

Fares Santana: {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Francisco Gomez: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The dealer fanned out {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs} on the flop and Gomez was well in front with his cowboys. A {4-Diamonds} turn card left Santana in need of a ten to stay alive but the {5-Diamonds} sent him out the door in ninth place.

The board read {2-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. Isaac Kempton bet 400,000 over to John Ott who thought for a while before moving all in.

Kempton snap called and turned over the {a-Spades}{k-Spades} while Ott had the {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}.

The river was a harmless {7-Diamonds} and Ott was the first victim of the final table.

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Brian Ray
Brian Ray

David Jackson opened to 215,000 from under the gun and Brian Ray moved his stack of about 1,400,000 into the middle from the small blind. Jackson snap-called and the two players turned over their hands with Ray at risk.

Brian Ray: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
David Jackson: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

The dealer fanned out {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}{7-Spades} and Jackson took a commanding lead with his three jacks. A {4-Spades} on the turn left Ray with one more shot to survive but the {8-Spades} river was not it and Jackson scooped the pot, eliminating Ray from the tournament.

Calderaro Finds Max Value vs. Patsourakis

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

The turned board read {j-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}{3-Clubs} and there was around 700,000 in the pot when Ioannis Patsourakis checked to James Calderaro who bet 500,000.

Patsourakis check-called and the {7-Diamonds} landed on the river to complete the board. Patsourakis tapped the table to Calderaro who immediately moved all in, totaling 1,635,000.

Patsourakis hit the tank and in the end, he threw in a chip to call, tabling {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for top pair of johnnies. Calderaro turned over {q-Spades}{6-Spades} for a flopped flush and more than enough to scoop the massive pot before break.

Balzano Takes Chip Lead After Forcing Jackson Out

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

There was a pot of close to 1,000,000 in the middle on a board that read {5-Spades}{a-Hearts}{3-Spades}{q-Spades}. From the small blind Paul Balzano bet 400,000 over to David Jackson from the button who called.

The river came the {a-Spades} to put four to a flush on the board. Balzano cut out a bet of 850,000.

Jackson looked intently a Balzano, looking like he was weighing all options in his head. After a minute his demeanor changed to a more tortured and indecisive posture making it seem as though he was now only contemplating a call. After a couple of more minutes he gave up his hand and showed the {a-Diamonds}. Balzano took in his chips and showed one card, the {3-Clubs}.
