Vazquez Runs Into Aces

Level 8 : 300/600, 600 ante

There was a raise to 1,500 from under the gun and Stuart Hooft was the next to act and just called. Two other players also called before Facundo Vazquez made it 9,500 from the small blind. Hooft was the only player to call, leaving himself with just 7,000 behind.

The flop fell {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades} and Vazquez moved all in which was met by a snap-call from Hooft. Vazquez confidently turned over {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} but Hooft had him the entire way with {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}. The turn was the {9-Diamonds} and the river was the {4-Diamonds} to secure a full double up for Hooft.
