Hinton Carrying His Momentum Forward

Level 14 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

Clyde Hinton just picked up his first WSOP Circuit ring last night in Event #8 which also pocketed him his second-best score to date with just over $10,000. He is looking to carry that momentum forward to the Main Event and so far it appears to be working for him.

The action folded around to the cutoff who ripped all in for a little over 30,000 which forced the small blind into the tank for a minute. He eventually folded and Hinton quickly called from the big blind.

Hinton turned over {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} which was dominating his opponent's {k-Spades}{q-Spades}. The board ran out {10-Clubs}{5-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Hinton's ace-high held on to earn him another pot.
