Neys Takes Kampen Out

Level 8 : 300/600, 600 ante
Mikos Kampen
Mikos Kampen

Wim Neys had quite an increased stack after the break and was kind enough to relay what had happened just before the break.

Neys had opened from under the gun with {4-}{4-} and was called by Mikos Kampen in the hijack and the player on the button.

The flop came {a-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-} for Neys to hit quads. Neys continued with a bet of 1,200 and Kampen was the only one to make the call.

The turn was a blank, Neys bet again, this time 4,300 and Kampen called again.

The river completed the board with the {j-Clubs}, Neys overbet-shoved for 22,000 and Kampen tank-called with a stack of 22,300. Kampen had {3-}{3-} to be left with a mere 300 which he lost shortly after.

As Level 8 is the last level for players to late-reg or reenter, Kampen jumped back in immediately.
