Lee Jams River

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Anthony Spinella opened the button to 175,000 and Jimmy Lee defended his big blind. The flop came {k-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Lee check-raised Spinella's continuation bet of 125,000 to 475,000. Spinella called.

The {9-Spades} fell on the turn and Lee fired out 725,000. Spinella again put in the chips to call. The {3-Spades} completed the board and Lee moved all in for 2,000,000. Spinella thought it over for several minutes before he folded.

Lee Chips Away at Spinella

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Jimmy Lee limped in on the button and Anthony Spinella defended his big blind to see a {2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} flop.

Spinella check-called Lee's 100,000 bet and did the same after Lee fired out 275,000 one the {j-Diamonds} hit the turn.

The {5-Hearts} completed the board and Spinella checked one last time and Lee fired out a 700,000 bet.

Spinella asked for a confirmation on the bet size, then let his hand go into the muck giving Lee the pot.

Tim Reilly moved all in on the button for 900,000. Nipun Java slowly peeled his cards in the big blind then quickly called.

Tim Reilly: {q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Nipun Java: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

Reilly picked up some outs when the flop came {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}. But was unable to improve as the {3-Hearts} turn and {4-Spades} river completed the board. Reilly will take home $48,923 for his fifth place finish.

Adam Owen Eliminated in 6th Place ($37,275)

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Adam Owen
Adam Owen

Adam Owen opened for 120,000 and Anthony Spinella three-bet to 230,000 next to act. Action folded around to Owen who four-bet all in and was snap-called by Spinella.

Adam Owen: {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Anthony Spinella: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

Own was in trouble as Spinella woke up with the weapons of mass destruction but found some life with the {4-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} flop giving him a broadway draw.

The {3-Clubs} turn gave both players the flush draw with Spinella holding the better of it with his ace and Owen needed a non-club jack to fall on the river to keep his tournament going.

Unfortunately for Owen, the board paired with the {3-Hearts} on the river ending his Main Event run in sixth place.

Kfir Nahum Eliminated in 7th Place (28,746)

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Kfir Nahum
Kfir Nahum

Kfir Nahum raised to 150,000 from middle position, Anthony Spinella was next to act and three-bet to 425,000. Nahum called and they went to a flop.

The flop came {9-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Spinella put out a continuation bet of 350,000. Nahum check-jammed for his last 1,500,000 and Spinella put in the chips to call.

Anthony Spinella: {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Kfir Nahum: {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

Nahum was ahead but would need to fade a club to avoid elimination. The {k-Hearts} turn changed nothing but the {5-Clubs} river gave Spinella the nut flush and Nahum walked away in seventh place.
